Mix House XXV Aprile

In Parma, Mix House XXV Aprile was created as a social and public residential housing project, part of a broader urban regeneration initiative dedicated to the quality of living. A model designed to welcome different generations, needs and stories, fostering everyday relationships, a sense of community and new forms of inclusion.

Developed by Policreo Engineering Company, the project interprets living as an open and shared experience: not only homes, but also common areas, multifunctional spaces, loggias, access balconies, green areas and micro community gardens. Places that connect the private and collective dimensions, home and neighborhood, indoors and outdoors.

Within this context, Panaria Ceramica supplied custom-developed surfaces for the project, designed to meet the building's diverse functional requirements while creating a consistent visual language. Panaria solutions were used in common areas, internal connecting spaces, technical rooms and outdoor areas, contributing to continuity between private, shared and outdoor environments.

Panaria ceramic surfaces interpret the project through neutral, material-inspired shades, capable of engaging with the architectural identity of the complex with a discreet and welcoming presence. Indoors, floor coverings accompany shared circulation areas with order and sobriety; wall coverings provide a durable and easy-to-maintain solution for service areas; outdoors, they define loggias, access balconies and open spaces with coordinated, high-performance surfaces.

With over 1,100 sqm of ceramic surfaces, Panaria Ceramica supports the complex's many functions: from common areas to the shared kitchen, from restrooms to changing rooms, from technical rooms to outdoor flooring. The continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces thus becomes an integral part of the building experience, making the transition between living spaces, meeting places and green areas more seamless.
