A contemporary home whose volumes and geometry are designed to blend into nature. Located in Austin, the capital of Texas, on the Colorado River, the new “TEXAS ARTISAN HOMES” housing project features an impressive central patio, breathtaking views across the vast expanse of rolling hills, and masterful use of ceramic surfaces in the spacious interiors.
Large laminated porcelain stoneware slabs inspired by marble from the Eternity 0.3 collection, in the delicate blue-grey of Breach Grey Lux with a 120x260 cm size and 6 mm thickness, were used for the floors and walls of the bathroom and the master walk-in closet, in which the brilliance of the chosen finish enhances the prestige and natural beauty of the surfaces.
For the large walls in the fireplace area and equipped cellar in the living room, the Statuario variant was chosen in the LUX finish with the Bookmatch decoration, emphasizing the decorative design. For the walls of the bathroom, the designer used large 100x300 cm, 5.5 mm-thick Onyx Light Lux and Sandy Grey Lux slabs from the Trilogy 0.3 collection which, thanks to the light vein patterns typical of marble, embellish the room and convey extremely elegant sensations. Large Bianco Denso slabs were used on the floor, the lightest shade from the Experience 0.3 collection, which stands out for its architectural character, a cement resin applied by spatula with a semi-gloss finish and its delicate graphic effect.
